Founded in 1993 by three men in recovery wishing to create a safe and sober environment to sustain the African American Community has evolved into today's Miracles Club. The Miracles Club of Portland has a cooperative relationship with Multnomah County, Oregon Health Authority, Central City Concern, Guardian Management, Bridges to Change, Quest and HealthShare.
Miracles is a community recovery center that offers addiction peer services to the African American Community, a fellowship hall, a wellness program, events, and meeting space for community recovery meetings.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Miracles Club is a Black, Peer-led, Recovery Center, committed to providing safe spaces for marginalized, historically oppressed racial and ethnic groups. We serve all individuals looking to find freedom and/or reduce harm from alcohol and drug abuse. Our mission is to maintain a recovery-focused environment where all people feel safe to heal.
