The mission of the Miracles Club/Wellness Within Reach Program is to spread awareness and promote wellness within the African American community in Portland, Oregon. We are committed to reshaping health and social services to better meet the unique needs of African Americans. Through health education, advocacy, and culturally specific wellness initiatives, we strive to enhance health outcomes and improve overall well-being.
Our program offers discounted Physical Activity Passes, Diabetes Prevention, and Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Disease classes, empowering individuals to take charge of their health.

WHY WE DO THIS.
Soul Stroll is an annual event dedicated to promoting health awareness within the African American community.
Our aim is to provide accessible physical activity programs that enhance overall health and well-being, formerly hosted by the African American Health Coalition for 22 years.
We offer evidence-based health education and advocacy, with a strong emphasis on addressing chronic diseases such as diabetes, which disproportionately affect our community. Our primary goal is to prevent and delay the onset of Type 2 Diabetes.
Soul Stroll will start at 8:30AM and will end at 12PM on August 16th, 2025!
